Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory and autoimmune disease, characterized by the production of antibodies against citrullinated proteins (ACPA) and infiltration of synovial compartment by neutrophils (PMN), macrophages (MФ), dendritic cells (DC)... Among these infiltrated cells, we distinguish PMN that participate in the pathogenesis of RA via the production of cytokines, reactive oxygen species, but also via the release (NETosis) of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NET), a network of chromatin associated with proteins from cytoplasm and granules.
